This was an educational picture book on learning about our bodies from a young age, and we kept the artworks very conservational and accessible for a young child. The sister explains menstruation to a curious brother in simple ways, and the artworks and text, with pastel palettes, characters and speech bubbles,  assist a curious reader. The book tries to break taboos and myths surrounding the hush-hush subject of menstruation, and the story, through the eyes of a young boy, breaks many barriers in accessing the subject.
